Course content

Esta asignatura se centra en el estudio de la disciplina del Análisis del Discurso. El Análisis del Discurso es visto desde teorías pragmáticas, de lingüística de texto,  argumentación y estudios psicosociales.

El curso consta de una parte teórica, donde se discuten los conceptos y categorías principales, y una parte práctica donde se analizan textos utilizando las herramientas discursivas. Los textos analizados provienen del discurso publicitario, periodístico y político.

Explicaciones de los profesores y discusiones (en parejas, grupos y de toda la clase) de la teoría y metodología, en base a las lecturas individuales hechas en casa. Empleo de corpus, power points interactivos y de padlets.

Análisis (en parejas, grupos y toda la clase) de corpus digitales, de acuerdo con la teoría y metodología pragmática. Empleo de padlets.

Textos teóricos junto con material empírico para su análisis (textos académicos, de prensa, políticos, publicitarios, entre otros).

Todo el material está en intranet (Absalon).

- The exam in ‘Advanced Spanish Language and Variation with Proficiency’ and ‘Written Proficiency in Spanish’ is conducted as a single exam with separate assessment and separate grades.
The written test is a response to one or more questions set by the examiner.
- ‘Oral proficiency’ is tested separately and consists of presenting and discussing a topic that has been part of the course.
- When you enrol in this course (Advanced Spanish Language and Variation) you will also be enrolled in: Written and Oral Proficiency in Spanish.
