Internship - ethnological workexperience
Course content
Please notice that you will have the choice between a 15 ECTS-course in ‘Understanding Organizations etc’ and this 30 ECTS-course. In this extended course, students are required to allocate appr. 840 work hours to internship, seminars, and exam. Please also note, that this extended course require students to reflect on relevant literature in their papers
This course, consisting of seminars, will guide you through your internship with an organization. In the seminars, we will discuss problems, that the participants face, but they will also address the paper for the exam and give inspiration, material and supervision for this.
Three seminars will be conducted. Please note that a contract between the organization, the supervisor/university, and the student must be signed, and a project description must be approved before the start of the internship.

Seminars
A few text will be read as preparation for the seminars. These will be available through the group room in Absalon. Participants will be expected to find additional literature relevant for their subject/internship
The internship must be approved by the Board of Studies on the basis of an agreement on an academic internship concluded between the institution and the student. In addition to the contract, a project description must be prepared. Registration is achieved by sending – during the ordinary registration period and up to and including the end of the post-registration period – a completed and signed agreement on the academic internship as well as a project description via this UCPH form.
