MACA Strategies for Composing Cultural Analysis
Course content
Based on lectures, group discussions and fieldwork-based group projects this course takes contemporary analytical approaches to culture and society into a number of applied fields. The course is an advanced graduate level course focusing on the analytical implications of specific modes of cultural analysis as explored through student projects. Participants will acquire thorough knowledge of key approaches in contemporary cultural analysis and their implications for ethnographic insights when applied.

Classes consist of a combination of lectures, seminars, student presentations and group exercises.
