  • Translation from Chinese to English, and from English to Chinese
  • Analysing and explaining basic grammatical features in a Chinese sentence

Chinese Propaedeutics C  (activity code HKIÆ00131E)

Plenary sessions, pair and group work monitored by the instructor. Indvidual writing, listening, reading exercises, as well as oral exercises. Teaching/learning is based on cooperative learning principles designed to facilitate equal participation and simultaneous interaction to ensure each student’s maximum output during class time.

  • New Practical Chinese Reader, Vol 3 (textbook and workbook)

Students should have passed Chinese Propaedeutic B or the equivalent

Continuous feedback during the course of the semester

Continuous feedback is given all through the semester, in connection with students’ active participation and in connection with weekly tests that are commented by the teacher.
