Course content
- Communicating in oral and written Chinese at elementary to lower intermediate level
- Translation from Chinese to English, and from English to Chinese
- Analysing and explaining basic grammatical features in a Chinese sentence

Chinese Propaedeutics C (activity code HKIÆ00131E)
Plenary sessions, pair and group work monitored by the instructor. Indvidual writing, listening, reading exercises, as well as oral exercises. Teaching/learning is based on cooperative learning principles designed to facilitate equal participation and simultaneous interaction to ensure each student’s maximum output during class time.
- New Practical Chinese Reader, Vol 3 (textbook and workbook)
Students should have passed Chinese Propaedeutic B or the equivalent
Continuous feedback is given all through the semester, in connection with students’ active participation and in connection with weekly tests that are commented by the teacher.
