Specialization 2: Advanced Parcing Technologies
Course content
The automatic analysis of natural language is an essential and
central part of computational linguistics. Parsing is usually seen
as the process of analyzing an input sequence in order to reveal
its grammatical structure, as a first step in working out its
meaning.
The course surveys various formal methods to characterize a
language and introduces several of the more advanced parsing
algorithms (symbolic and probabilistic).
