Post-Soviet transformation in Central Asia and Afghanistan

Course content

Set against a historical background, the course will focus on the political, economic and social transformation of the Central Asian –stan countries and Afghanistan in the post-Soviet era. Equal attention will be paid to similarities and differences, as well as to discussions pertaining to the role played by state and non-state actors.
